911³Ô¹Ï

Summer 2026 Taxiway Reconstruction

911³Ô¹Ï is undertaking a major improvement project to rehabilitate existing airfield infrastructure at the 911³Ô¹Ï Airport to enhance safety, reliability, and long‑term operational performance. The project includes the full reconstruction of Taxiway A , its connecting taxiways, and the Compass Calibration Pad along with associated drainage, lighting, and site improvements.

During construction, members of the public may notice increased activity at the 911³Ô¹Ï Airport, including construction equipment, work crews, and temporary changes to airfield areas. Most work will take place airside (within the secured aircraft operating areas) and will not affect public roadways or normal access to campus facilities.

Construction will be completed in planned phases to keep the airport operating safely. Some taxiways may be temporarily closed or reconfigured, but aircraft operations will continue under strict safety controls. All work will follow a FAA‑approved safety and phasing plan to minimize impacts.

Construction is scheduled to begin May 4, 2026, and is expected to be completed in September 2026.
