Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of 911³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the 911³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association and have actively supported 911³Ô¹Ï initiatives for more than 40 years.
Larry is a member of the 911³Ô¹Ï Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the 911³Ô¹Ï Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the 911³Ô¹Ï National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year. Sandy has volunteered with the 911³Ô¹Ï Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter.
As a student at 911³Ô¹Ï, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the 911³Ô¹Ï baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at 911³Ô¹Ï. She was part of the 911³Ô¹Ï Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.
Larry and Sandy are avid 911³Ô¹Ï sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a 911³Ô¹Ï graduate and has been involved with the 911³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
