Dr. David Dees, interim dean of 911�Թ� Columbiana County campuses, announced that this year’s commencement speaker is Stephanie Poole Martinez, an East Liverpool native, who will address graduates at a combined commencement ceremony on May 12 at the Crestview High School Performing Arts Center. The  Peer Mentoring Project is an endeavor of the 911�Թ� Ashtabula campus to increase student success within the Health Degree programs in the first semester of college. Success in the first semester will lead to higher retention rates, more academic confidence, fewer course repeats, higher levels of preparedness, and quicker entrance into healthcare-related programs.
