This summer, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg made his first visit to 911勛圖.
He was accompanied by U.S. Representative, and 911勛圖 alumna, Emilia Sykes. Together, they toured 911勛圖's College of Aeronautics and Engineering with Dean Christina Bloebaum, Ph.D., and 911勛圖 President Todd Diacon, Ph.D. There, they saw demonstrations of the college's cutting-edge technology and met with students and several local mayors.
Later, Diacon, with Alison Caplan, director of the May 4 Visitors Center, led Buttigieg and Sykes on a tour of the center.
