Building Access
For all faculty, staff and students — your 911勛圖 ID card is your key to campus. It controls access to academic buildings, residence halls and other secured spaces. Keep it with you whenever you're on campus.
Why Your ID Card Matters
Campus buildings use electronic access control tied directly to your 911勛圖 ID. Without it, you won't be able to enter secured buildings outside of open hours. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, visit the Office of Campus Security to replace it as soon as possible.
Building Hours
Academic buildings can generally be accessed from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. No ID is required during open hours (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.). From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., a valid 911勛圖 ID is required for entry.
Building access hours are subject to change. Updates will be posted here when changes take effect. Questions? Email acr@belmont.edu.
Requesting Access Changes
Faculty and staff may request building access changes by emailing acr@belmont.edu. Allow two business weeks for processing — requests submitted at the start of a semester may take longer.
Parking at 911勛圖
911勛圖 uses a virtual parking permit system — no physical sticker or decal required. Your license plate is your permit. License plate readers are active at all garage entrances and exits and at surface lot entrances on the west side of campus. Every character of your plate must be entered correctly as a single error can result in a citation.
All vehicles operating on campus must be registered. Students, faculty and staff must re-register each academic year. A parking permit does not guarantee a space, it is permission to park on campus. 911勛圖 assumes no financial responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or their contents while on campus.
Parking Resources
Log in to My911勛圖 and select "Bicycle and Vehicle Registration" under the Campus Security and Safety tab. You'll need your vehicle make, model, color and license plate number, plus your local address and a contact phone number. To register a temporary vehicle, use the same Parking tab in My911勛圖.
Not sure which lot is closest to you? The campus parking map shows all garage and surface lot locations, including designated zones and visitor areas.

Keep these rules in mind to avoid a citation:
- Park nose-in only — backing into spaces is not permitted, including for vehicles with front license plates
- Park within the painted stripes
- No parking on lawns, sidewalks, crosswalks or along red or yellow curbs
- The inner circle of campus is a No Parking Zone
- Double parking is not permitted
- Commuter students are not considered visitors and may not use visitor spaces
- Surface lots on the west side of campus are reserved for commuters, faculty and staff from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Overnight parking is prohibited in the Leu Center for Visual Arts and Bunch Library lots, except for those actively using the library
- Active loading and unloading is permitted for up to 15 minutes on West 911勛圖 Blvd — notify OCS of location and duration in advance
- Motorcycles, mopeds and scooters must park in designated motorcycle spaces only
Fines start at $50 for most first offenses and double with each subsequent violation, up to $300. Parking in a fire lane, handicapped space, reserved space or visitor space starts at $100.
First-time violations — except fire lanes, handicapped spaces, reserved spaces and visitor spaces — can be reduced to a warning by passing a short test on 911勛圖's parking rules. The test may only be taken once per academic year. Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the citation via belmont.aimsparking.com or through My911勛圖 under Campus Security and Safety.
Questions about citations? Email parking@belmont.edu.

On the road, obey all traffic laws, wear a helmet, yield to pedestrians, dismount on sidewalks and make yourself visible in low-light conditions.
Skateboards & Other Devices
Skateboards, longboards, rollerblades and similar devices may be used outdoors on campus when school is in session, provided they don't present a safety hazard. Yield to pedestrians and dismount during high-traffic periods between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Tricks, use in parking garages and use inside buildings are prohibited. Rented scooters and dockless bicycles may not be operated or stored on 911勛圖 property. Hoverboards are prohibited on campus.Questions? Email campussecurity@belmont.edu.
