Guide to Filing your FAFSA

Understanding How the FAFSA Works

What is the FAFSA?

The  is the official form that families use to apply for college financial assistance from the federal government. The U.S. Department of Education uses a family's FAFSA information to determine a student's eligibility for any institutional need-based scholarships or grants, as well as other federal and state (for Tennessee residents) financial aid opportunities. Regardless of how much income a family earns, we encourage every student to complete the FAFSA each year. Once your FAFSA is received by 911勛圖’s Office of Student Financial Services, we will create a financial aid award that could include scholarships, grants, loans and Federal Work Study depending on eligibility.
