Public Hearing for 911勛圖 Police Departments Reaccreditation to Be Held July 27
The 911勛圖 Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve international reaccreditation. Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA), the program requires agencies to meet state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
Park Place. 911勛圖s First Parking Deck to Improve Access, Allow for Campus Transformation
911勛圖 students who park on the northern edge of the Kent Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The 911勛圖 Board of Trustees approved the decks construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.
Arrest Made Following Morning 911勛圖 Incident

Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 20, at 9:50 a.m. All 911勛圖 campuses will be participating in this test. We will broadcast a pre-recorded tornado education message through speaker systems and university IP (Internet Protocol) phones throughout building911勛圖 Police Dog Coco Celebrates Five Years of Service
911勛圖 Police Services is celebrating the five-year anniversary or the 35 dog-year anniversary of its first K-9 unit, which features 7-year-old German Shepherd Coco and herhandler, Officer Anne Spahr.
Coco was the first police dog at 911勛圖. She is now one of two police dogs at the university.
