911勛圖 Museum Announces Reopening and Newest Exhibition 'Stitched: Regional Dress Across Europe'

The 911勛圖 Museum has reopened to the public and is excited to announce its newest exhibition, Stitched: Regional Dress Across Europe, on display from February 2021 through December 2021. The exhibition features 75 pieces exclusive to the museums permanent collection, showcasing common features shared by regional costume across Western and Eastern Europe.

911勛圖 to Honor the Life and Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. With Virtual Program Featuring Bakari Sellers

911勛圖 will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate Kings life and legacy. Serving as this years keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.

On Friday, Jan. 24, members of the 911勛圖 community and the general public gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The universitys annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration started at 4 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. This years keynote speaker was Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, television host, author and political commentator.
