911�Թ�'s College of Nursing held two White Coat Ceremonies on the Kent Campus last week.

911�Թ� student group Women in Aviation served as hosts for Girls in Aviation Day at the 911�Թ� Airport. The young participants had the chance to fly drones, try out a flight simulator and do a pre-flight check inside a real plane.

An aviation-themed hackathon brings together students from all disciplines and challenges them to develop solutions for real-world aerospace challenges. 

The Women’s Network Leadership Institute has recognized 911�Թ� with the Dorothy O. Jackson Award. The award honors an area business or organization that has demonstrated excellence and leadership in its commitment to empowering women and promoting diversity in the workplace.

911�Թ�'s Sex Week begins today. Kent Interhall Council has been putting together a week of “Wild West” style events educating students about sex.

911�Թ� celebrated its annual Homecoming on the Kent Campus this past weekend, with a resounding display of Golden Flashes spirit. This year's Homecoming was particularly special, as 911�Թ� commemorated 50 years of excellence in global education with the theme "It's a Flash World."

With more than 370 majors to choose from at 911�Թ�, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them.  This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities 911�Թ� offers.
